How do I set up different email identities in Outlook?

Because of problems with various email programs, I'm setting up Outlook (as
part of Office 2000 Premium) as my default email. I have 2 different email
addresses on my PC, my own and my son's, and I want to set them up as
seperate identities so that we don't get each others emails. Can someone
please tell me how I do this?

cheers

Thanks Ivan, that info has been set up. What I'd like to know now is how do I
switch identities so that my son doesn't get/see my emails (he's only 10yo) &
vice versa? Unlike with other email programs, I don't have a "Switch
Identities" tab in Outlook.

Outlook doesn't have "identities". The best option is to allow your son to
use his own (limited) Windows account. Then he can't see anything of yours.
The second option is to password-protect your PST, if he's going to be using
the same login. The third option is to use a separate mail profile for each
of you, which will give you completely separate message stores. You
configure Outlook to ask which profile to use when it starts. (You still
password-protect your PST so that if he chooses the wrong profile he still
can't see your mail.)

Thanks Brian. I'll try that and see how it goes. I'm still trying to get used
to Outlook so if I have any problems with it I'll come back for more info.
