how do i set up an excite account?

I can't get my excite email account to go to Outlook. I've followed all of
the instructions using pop accounts and still can't get it working....Help@@11

Since you pay Excite for the privilege, ask them.
 
If you have the free Excite, you cannot use Outlook since it's Web mail, not
POP. You'll have to upgrade to the paid Gold version for a POP mail acct. If
you already have the Gold acct, you have to get the correct settings from
Excite.
 
Thanks for the help Mary. I have the Gold version and had already followed
their instructions before posting to here and it still didn't work. I
appreciate your reply however.

You were more helpful than Mr. Tillman. After I spent hours reading other
posts and giving up you would think if he had the time to respond he could've
at least not wasted it by not helping at all.

I'm sure my problem is trivial to him, but what's the point of these
discussion groups if people don't help...probably the lat time I try a
discussion group.
