How do I set up a permenant custom paper size?

I need to create a custome paper size which is retained by MS Word (or MS
OFFICE as a whole) such as 'letter' 'legal' 'A4', etc. This would be very
helpful when I go to create the documents on different size papers, instead
of having to re-create the whole document it could scale it down
automatically in the 'print scale' feature. Anyone know how to create or at
least modify these existing paper defaults?

You cannot add custom paper sizes to Word per se except by creating a
document template in a custom size. But some printers do allow you to create
new custom sizes through the printer Properties.
