How do I set up a field with a calender next to it?

In Word 2003, I would like to set up a "line" where there is a calender next
to it, so that the user can change the date as needed. THANKS!
 
This is possible using the Content Controls in Word 2007. I believe there is
some sort of date picker control that can be added to the Control Toolbox in
earlier versions, but this is an ActiveX control that would not be suitable
for an ordinary protected form.
