I have several template contracts I use daily and I know I am doing them the
hard way. Its like reformatting them each time. I know there is an easy way
to create a blank line within the test that does not move all over the place.

In my experience, tables are the best way to create forms/templates. You
would create an extra row and eliminate the borders. ~ivcchelpdesk

What you are talking about may be what Word calls an "online form." Check
this in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
