Outlook calendar appointsments meeting time dropdown box defaults to
selecting appointments at 30 minute intervals, unless you type something
else. This is a pain. My apointments are at 15 minute intervals. In the new
appointment dialog, is there are way to get the time dropdown box to default
to 15 minute intervals?

Thanks

JM

if you are using the day view, right click on the time scale - select 15
min. You can also access the time scale by right clicking on the calendar
and choosing other settings.

What you wrote is correct up to a point. From day view, doing a new
appointment has a default of 15 minite intervals. This is good. But if you
then switch to month view, which is where I always want to be, and try to do
a new appointmtnet, it still is set to 30 minute intervals. Is this a bug or
is there a way to get what I want.

Thanks for your ideas.

You need to use Day or 5 Day view to get it to use the selected time scale.
You'll also be able to select the correct time slot and won't have to change
it. :)

To make changes faster, don't waste your time selecting times from the drop
down - type the number in the field:
9
and it will convert to 9 am.

9.30 converts to 9:30 AM.

Or just leave out the colon and type 930.
