How do I serialize an ADO.NET DS to a positional flat file?

Is there any preferred way to serialize an ADO.NET DataSet to a positionally
delimitted flat file (space filled) for use in a mainframe interface?

For example XSLT?

You can write two nested loops, foreach(DataRow dro in
dataSet.Tables(tableIndex)){

foreach(DataColumn dc in dro.Columns){
//use a textwriter here...
}
}
