Perhaps your computer is broken- it doesn't seem type capital letters.

Look in the menus.

Right-click on a toolbar, Customize, reset the toolbars. Could be yours are
corrupted.

Do you have a mail account installed?

I am having problems both sending and receiving, can anyone help. All of my
settings are correct according to my ISP, but they do not support Outlook and
can't help. Err. Ox8004210A (send) and Ox800421OB. Thanks for any advice
you can lend. Oh and I use Norton's, does that have anything to do with it?

If you have any Symantec application, it can cause interference with
Outlook. Temporarily, uninstall Norton and see if it helps. If so,
reinstall and leave out the option to integrate with Outlook.

Thank you Brian I will try this. Tonight when I tried Outlook again I got a
new error #, the same for both sending and receiving.... OX8007007E?

Remove Norton's and now I am soooo scared to be on here.lol But the problem
still exists. I removed all symantec products, I think?

That's 0X8007007E (the first character is a zero, not an O). See if this
helps:

Click Start>Run and, in the Open field, type

regsvr32.exe msxml3.dll

and click OK. If that doesn't help, try Detect and Repair from Outlook's
Help menu.

I have literally been on the phone with Microsoft for since 4:40p.m. and I am
still working with them. I will try this. I have had 2 outlook techs and
now the 2nd XP tech is getting on the line. The actual file it can't find is
msrpt2.dll? Now they say its an XP problem again. They had me install s.
pack 2 again, because somehow they think I didn't get all of it in my update.
Thanks

Microsoft is your best source of resolution.
