You can't compress a video file (or graphics file or music file, etc), so
unless it's tiny to begin with (within the limits set by both your ISP and
the receipients'), you can't email it. Upload it to a website or ftp site if
you have access to one and send a link to the recipients.
Why not? Send it as an attachement if it is small enough to be accepted by the recipients ISP. It will compress slightly if zipped but not significantly so. 10MB is usually the limit.
The other way is to break the video up into pieces. And then send each piece as an e-mail under the limit. In this case size is irrelevant.

Yes, but this might be inconvenient for the recipient as well.
