How do I search for a wildcard character?

How do I find an asterisk in a spreadsheet? I can't do a
Find on "*" because of course Excel reads that as a
wildcard and simply finds the first cell with any character
at all. I am trying to find cells where the user has
entered an asterisk as part of the cell entry.
