How do I search for a document in Word 2007?

When I was at a different computer I could go to my open screen and click on
tools and search for a previously created document and it searches and shows
any and all folders that may have this document in it. I recently started
working at a new computer with Word 2007 and it does not search like the
other one. Can anyone help me with this. I work in a law office and sometimes
I do a new document that I am need to look at again to do it again and we
have so many clients, I can't remember who I did it for before.
 
If you're using Word 2007 in Windows Vista, searching is built into every
file dialog. If you're using Word 2007 in Windows XP, you need to use
Windows Explorer.
