how do I schedule a task?

Hi,
Let's say I want to make a schedule to run the disk defragmenter, I can
schedule it to start at a specified time, but it only starts up the program;
Is it possible to schedule it to actually run the program ie. start
defragment, not just start it up? Thx

The default defragmenter is not designed to run unattended. Try the 3rd
party program AutoIt for setting up a work around.

So how about some other software like Ad-aware, or virus scan, i want it to
run at a specified time period, how may I do that? I can only start it up,
but not actually run it.. Thx.
