I am tring to save a word document so that I can give it to a friend so that
he can work off of the disk and add idea's if possible. I am useing a system
with out a floppy drice or I would use that because that is how I would
normaly do it . CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME?

First, does your machine have a CD burner, or just an ordinary CD? If you
don't have a burner, you can't do it. If ydo ou have a burner, then you
should also have some burning software. Use it.

Never ever read from, write to or print from floppy with Word. This is the
most certain method of ensuring document corruption. Copy to the hard disc
and work on the document from there. For the purpose of this exercise
consider a CD writer as a floppy drive so copy the document to the CD using
your writing software or zip it up and e-mail it to him.
