How do I save a standard color scheme for ALL future presentation.

In PowerPoint 2003, I add a colour to a scheme using Edit Color Scheme
option. Choose a different colour from the palette. Then I Save as Standard
Scheme. Apply. OK. When I finish my presentation and close it, PowerPoint
does not save this Color Scheme for any new presentations. Please HELP.
