I have a Win2000 SP4 pc and need to run SysPrep so I can
Image some machines with PowerQuest DeployCenter 5.5.
First time ever hearing of sysprep, please advice on how
to run it.
Thank you!

Jennifer,

You can read about sysprep here;
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q216/9/15.ASP

Basically this is what it boils down to;

1. run sysprep -pnp (Start - run)
2. image the system with Ghost-like tool
3. apply the image on some other system

Sysprep prepares your computer for imaging. the pnp causes
hardware detection when you start w2k after first reboot.

Have your W2k license number handy since you will need to
fill it in on reboot.
If I recall correctly you will also need to fill in name of
user, name of computer and name of work group.
