I am a Windows XP Professional user.

I recently bought an OCR package meant to run on Win 95 and Win 98.

How do I get it to run on XP.

Why did you purchase ancient software and not the latest version of the
package? You most likely won't be able to - OCR apps don't much care for
being run in compatibility mode.
 
I have to ask. Why did you buy an outdated package of software? You KNOW
what operating system you are running!

Check the manufacturer's web site for updates for XP. If none available
use XP compatibility check.
