how do i retrieve a deleted document?

If you haven't emptied it the deleted file should be in the Recycle Bin.
Open the RB, select the file & use the "Restore this item" to put it back
where it came from or drag it to wherever you want tit stored.

If you *did* empty the RB the file is gone & you cannot get it back.
