I have loaded Outlook 2002 on to a new computer. Prior to the upgrade I
backed up our Outlook .PST file in preparation of the migration.
Unfortunately, I accessed my Master Category List only to find that my
categories are ALL GONE! Aren't they saved in the .PST file?
I hope I'm not toast! Can the categories be reconstructed from the entries
in the Oultook records for contacts, tasks, etcetera? Can I glean them from
the old computer's registry before we reformat? In my opinion this type of
trick is a great BIG developer oversight! We had hundreds of categories
defined, HELP PLEASE!
