I have users currently launching the My Computer icon and typing in
the address bar to get out to the Internet. I can't hide the My
Computer icon because we use it to show the user logged in and the pc
name. I don't want to not allow Internet explorer because we have
some internal apps that use IE but it is locked down. Can someone
tell me how remove the address bar in My computer.

Thanks

r-click on unused area of taskbar, go into Toolbars, and
uncheck Address

If you do this while watching writes to the reg (as with regmon
from www.sysinternals.com) you will find out where you need
to make changes per-user. You could then use that info to
make a custom adm as I do not seem to find that setting in
existing policies (might be there hiding).

What you could do is use the setting in the User/Adm templates
for Desktop to Prohibit adjusting toolbar settings in combo with
settings in the StartMenu and Taskbar adm template to prevent
changes to startmenu and taskbar and to disable per-user
behaviors
