I opened a greeding card e-mail that has done nothing but mess up my outlook
sending and receiving of e-mail. The cards are coming in under all sorts of
names...greetings cards.com, postcards.com, 123 greeting cards.com.
Assigning them as junk mail and deleting them has not helped. I have tried
several spyware programs, which has not helped either. Is there a removal
tool that will remove it?

It may be there is a bit of spyware on your computer. Sounds like you
already checked for that.

It may also be that the sender of the greeding card e-mail you opened
has harvested your email address and has sold it to a bunch of other
spammers who are now sending you their greedings too. In this case,
there isn't much you can do about it except maybe get a new email address.

This looks like just the latest phish technique, not related to spyware on the local machine. It might take a few days for spam detection engines (including Outlook's) to catch up, although Outlook 2007 detects such messages as phish attempts and shows them into plain text with a big red warning on them. A tool like SpamBayes probably can react more quickly.

Roberta: As a safety measure, you should not click a link to go to a web site that you're not familiar with, especially if it has numbers in the address rather than a name and it comes from "a neighbor" or "a friend" who is not identified by name.
