How do I remove a tab?

Click the tab to bring that Firefox Browser window forward, then click
the red "X" to the right of the tabs.

And how on EARTH do you deduce the OP was talking about Firefox? Could be
any number of applications, including IE7...

No, just a fine. That doesn't apply to the consumer cutting the tab/tag

Hello,

If you mean to remove the tab row in IE7, start IE7 and

Tools > Internet Options > (Tabs) Settings > UNCHECK Enabled Tabbed Browsing
