How do I reinstall Outlook?

I am synching Outlook 2003 on my Windows XP machine with a Blackberry 7230.
I was unable to do so on first try and had to create a 2nd profile just for
the Blackberry. All seemed to be well until I went to look up an address.
The contact phone information was there but not the address. After some
research, there are many addresses that will just not sync over from Outlook
to the Blackberry and there doesn't seem to be a pattern.

After hours on the phone with the Rim people in Canada I was advised that my
Outlook must be corrupted and needs to be reinstalled. He also had me
uninstall Business Contacts, saying that was probably the problem. I did
but it wasn't.

I have also been trying to sync Oulook to my iPod using a sync application
for windows and am getting a DLL error message
on Outlook, so there very well could be a problem with my current Outlook
installation.

Questions:

1. Does anyone have any other ideas as to why this issue of the synching is
problematic?

2. How do I re-install Outlook?

Choose Detect & Repair from the Help drop down menu. Have
your installation CD ready!
 
I have tried that already but am still having issues. How do I do an
uninstall and re-install? I also need to keep the data I have in my current
Outlook.

Copy your .pst file to another folder. Then go to Start>
Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to Outlook
(assuming it is a stand-alone program) or MS Office, select
Remove and follow the dialog. Once uninstalled, restart
your computer and Install the product(s) again, and point
Outlook to the .pst file.

Having said that, you would probably would be better off
cleaning your computer of malware and spyware. For
starters, download, install, update and scan with Ad-aware
SE Personal Edition: http://www.lavasoftusa.com
If that doesn't solve the problem, try downloading Spybot
Search & Destroy from:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
