How do I recover a password to a Word document?

I have a word document I created in 2003 and I have forgotten the password.
I have tried all the usual ones I have used but cannot find the right one.
Can anyone help?
 
There no means to recover the doc through any backdoor in the program.
So if you can't remember the password, there's no way to open it.

Your only option is to purchase a cracker program from hackers on the
web. But then, of course, that also means you'll have to give your
credit card to someone who hacks security for a living.
