How do I reach My Active Desktop

Hello,
I would like to know how can I reach my active desktop on
an XP computer. My problem is that I have a browser in
the background and I'd like to get rid of it. Thank you.

Right-click the Desktop, choose PROPERTIES|DESKTOP tab
Click the CUSTOMIZE button, the the WEB tab, and see if anything there is
related to your quest.
