How do i re-enable hardware detection.

I had a failed attempt to install drivers for my netgear pc network card using hardware detection wizard but now when i reconnect hardware it is not detected. Is this because i indavertently left 'do not prompt again' checked. If so how do i reset this?
 
right click "my computer"/ properties/ hardware tab/
device manager/right click on your computers name at the
top and choose "scan for hardware changes"
