How do I re-embed images that have been moved to files?

Every so often, I receive an email where Outlook has moved all the embedded
images to attached files. I can look at the images one at a time, but the
message is incomprehensible without the images in place. Is there a way to
recombine the images and text, or to stop Outlook from moving the images in
the first place?

Outlook always shows attachments as attachments. If you're seeing what you
think should be embedded pictures as attachments then that's what they
really are. The person who sent you the message didn't actually embed the
pictures.

Thanks for your quick response, Brian. Here's the message I get:
(Embedded image moved to file:

to file: pic04664.gif)(Embedded
image moved to file: pic15141.gif)

I am only assuming that Outlook is doing it; but my son, who uses Netscape
through the same ISP, has never had it happen to him.

Netscape and Outlook have different paradigms for how to present messages.
