How do I predict inventorys in Excel

I am wanting to set up a trend for inventory over the new 10 years. Is there
a formula that will help me? I have the current year inventory and the last
few years as well.
 
How would you do it without Excel? What formula would you use manually? When
you have that formula, enter it in Excel.
