How do I place a colored rectangle behind a text box in Access

I have created a report in Access and want to place a colored rectangle in
the report so that it shades a particular area behind a group of text boxes.
Whenenver I try this, the rectangle sits on top of the data and I cannot see
it. Can you help please? Thanks.

Highlight it, then select "Send to back" from the format menu at the top of
the screen.

Highlight the colored rectangle in design mode. Use the menu item "Format"
and choose "Send to Back".
