I have a range, D10:O12, D20:O22, and I would like to be able to cop
the range and paste it to another sheet in the same exact cells that
copied it from. However, when I paste it, it pastes in the ne
worksheet to cells D10:O14. How do I paste it to preserve the spacin
between the cells

Highlight the range as it is shown in the original
worksheet (complete with the rows between)--do not
highlight separately. Once highlighted, copy the range and
merely paste it onto the new worksheet.

When you have copied the range exactly as it appears in the
original worksheet, simply delete the unnecessary contents
between rows D10 and D20.

thats what i did. specifically, i selected range d10:o12. held down th
control button then selected d20:o22. i then hit ctrl-c. then i went t
the new worksheet. i selected cell d10 and hit ctrl-v. then end resul
was all the values in d10:o12 and d20:o22 but they were all in cell
d10:o15.

i could have sworn that in the past, it would all paste exactly how i
was copied but now it doesn't do that anymore. is there some kind o
option or something

Simply put, you don't preserve the spacing. Selecting separate ranges by copying has never preserved spacing. This would work if the ranges were right next to each other. Perhaps one of the VBA gurus can help you out
