How do I move text from one file to a template?

I write a Calendar. I need to transfer my file of 365 text paragraphs to a
template. How do I do this?
 
Save it as a template? Or save the 365 paragraphs individually as AutoText
in a template? Not sure what you are trying to accomplish by "transferring
to a template."
