We need a tool that will help our users re-size .jpg's (and other image
files, though .jpg is my highest priority) while attaching them to a message.
Our users don't have time to manually resize the files before attaching them.
I'd like something that is integrated with Outlook, preferably from Microsoft
but I'm open to 3rd party solutions.

Hi Bob,
why dont you use Winrar or Winzip or another package programm?

Andreas, Since .jpg's are already compressed, recompressing them with WinZip
or WinRar usually doesn't reduce the size very much, and can even increase
the size. The problem is that my users create a .jpg, from either a digital
camera or a scanner, with too high a resolution and/or not enough .jpg
compression. Often the camera has already been set to it's lowest quality
setting, and the resultant image is still much more detailed than we need it
to be. We could load the .jpg into an editor and modify it, but I want a tool
that will simplify and, to a large extent, automate this process when
e-mailing the files. Picasa does this, but I don't want the albuming and
other features, just the e-mail aspect.
