How do I make the file location automatically appear as footer?

Instead of copying the file location from File/Properties/General, I know
there is a way for it to appear automatically on all documents - and there is
a little yellow smiley face that you can click on to enter your initials.
Does anyone know how to set that up?

You could use a filename /p field in the document footer, but you will have
top force it to update. The macro code at
http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm will do that.

If there is a little smiley face to click on someone has created it. it
isn't part of Word. It also seems rather a misuse of effort to use a button
to insert your initials. Better to use your initials as a shortcut to insert
your signature as a formatted autocorrect entry?

Take a look at

Hope this helps,
