How do I make Response.Redirect refresh the web page?

I have an application where I need to redirect the user to a different page
and have that page load from the server. I tried using Response.Redirect,
and while that does redirect them, it does not force a page load of the
target page. In other words, it takes their cached page, if one exists, and
uses that instead of going back to the server. I am currently doing
Server.Transfer, and that does do what I want, but does not update the URL.
I would like the URL updated to reflect the new location.

why not the expire time on the page you want to redirect too, so everytime
you redirect to it will be reloaded

I think if you just change the URL slightly that will cause the browser to
request the page, not finding a match in cache. e.g.,

Response.Redirect("http://myserver/mypage.aspx?id="+DateTime.Now.Ticks.ToString() );
