I have to make name tents for a meeting--they have to be two sided so they
can be read on both sides of a table.

You need to read the cards from above and below the table? Cool meeting! As
Dorothy Parker put it, "If I drink any more, I'll end up under the host."

Assuming two tent cards to an 8 1/2 x 11 page.
Put the page in landscape mode. File>Page Setup>Margins Tab>Landscape.
Set the left and right margins to 0 inches, then choose to ignore the
warning message.
Set the top and bottom margins to .75, or whatever you think would fit.
Create a 4 column table that is 11 inches wide and 7 inches high.
Table>Insert>Table and choose 4 columns.
Type the first name in the first two columns and the second name in the
second two columns.
Then turn the text in column one 90 degrees to the right and in column two
90 degrees to the left. Format>Text Direction.
Center the text. Table>Properties>Cell>Center.
Increase the font size to whatever fits on a single line, or perhaps two
lines if you want..
Continue with the next two columns for the second name. Etc. Etc.
Cut the card in half and fold.

I think that should do it.
