I am typing a document and at the end of the 5th pages.. it stops. Wont
allow me to go to a 6th page. Is this normal for the Word program?

Word is definitely not limited to 5 pages. It would be helpful to know what
versions of Word & Windows you are using, but here are a couple fundamentals:

1- How much RAM does your computer have? It could be a memory-related issue.
2- How is the availability & condition of free space on you drive?
3- Are you saving periodically as you work, or just typing page after page
without saving?

Like I say, these are just a few basic points to consider, but if you post
back with more specific info someone may be more familiar with known issues.

No, this is not normal. I suspect you are typing in a table. Under the
Tables menu, select "display Gridlines." Press Ctrl-Shift-8 (the 8 above the
U and I on the keyboard). This turns on display of nonprinting characters.
What do you see?

Which version of Word are you using?

When you say "it stops" what, exactly, is happening? What are you doing to
try to get a 6th page?
