I keep outlook open all day long at work, so i can recieve updates from my
companies various field sites. My computer is connected to a LAN, and is
online to the internet and my mail server whenever it is on. Recently
outlook has switched to offline, and requires me to manually send/receive,
even though it is set up to do it automatically when i complete a message,
and at regular intervals. I cannot find an option to stay online. Can
anyone tell me how i might find the setting to fix this?

Thanx, Dave

you should be able to click on this word offline and untick work offline.
otherwise you should be able to untick work offline under file - work
offline.
