How do I log on as administrator?

I need to logon as administrator to my personal
computer. How do I do it? It is not connected to any
other computers and is in my home? Thanks.

Hi!
Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice at the Welcome screen to
retrieve the standard logon dialog. You can log on as
Administrator from here.

That's OK with Pro - doesn't work with Home edition. The OP needs to
boot into Safe Mode in HE before the Administrator Log-in is visible.

You should normally have a regular user account with admin status for
day to day admin needs. To get the reserve account *called*
'Administrator', hit F8 as the BIOS info goes to black, and from the
menu take SAfe Mode - Administrator will be on the Welcome screen then
