How do I lock the Reading Pane

When I scroll down the e-mail message, the Reading Pane on the top, also
scrolls down to the last recieved e-mail. How do I freeze the Reading Pane ?
 
Outlook 2003? When scolling only the pane that your mouse is in scrolls. If
this is not the case see if there are driver updates for your pointing
device.
