How do I link Outlook tasks?

Outlook Appointments and Contacts let you insert LINKS to Tasks, Notes,
Contacts, and indeed other Office files in Word, etc. But Outlook Tasks only
seem to allow you to insert ATTACHMENTS. This means that if you edit an
Outlook attachment, it has become a new object: the updates do not appear in
the original Task/Note. Is there a way to link Tasks and/or Notes?
