How do I leave my slide up at the end of my slide show? It always goes to the
black screen that says "end of show."

Change the slide transition to advance on a mouse click. then it will sit there
until you do something.

There are a number of ways to go to the end of the show. If you are clicking
on the last slide (or hitting the space bar or the right arrow key or ...),
don't do that and just leave the slide up there. But I'm guessing you are
using automatic transitiions to go from slide to slide. In that case, you
should turn off the transition for the last slide. In the Slide Show menu,
choose Slide Transition, and uncheck the box that says to advance the slide
automatically after xx seconds.

Set the slide transition to "On mouse click". You can also set PowerPoint to
not show that pesky black screen. Go to Tools Options > View and uncheck the
box next to "End with black slide".

You can also set the last slide to *not* transition at all and you'll have to
press Escape to end.
