I have a catalog with product numbers that need to have the zeros infront of
the number...(ex 0244, 0017,0021) how do I set up my document to reflect that?

Hi Karla
Either put an apostrophe before the number
OR
Format the cell as text.
Formating as text works great, but remember that you won't be abe to use
maths on it if it is text.

If there are always 4 digits you can use format>cells>number>custom and use
0000
otherwise precede entries with an apostrophe '
that way it is seen as text and the apostrophe is not visible in the cell
You can also preformat the cells as text but I would not recommend that in
case you pout a formula in one of those cells
since it would just return the text string
