How do I keep Outlook attachments in the order I want them?

I often send attachments that should be read in order. outlook changes the
order. What can I do?

Attach them one at a time and they should be sent in the order in which you
attached them.
 
We did attach them one at a time in the order we wanted and when it got to
the next person, they were out of order. In fact, they don't seem to be in
any order -- not by size, not alphabetical....

Is it a poltergeist?
