put in the disk is "Invalid sytem disk Replace the disk
and press any key.

Please help

Are you able to set the computer to boot from the CD-ROM drive.
The XP CD is bootable but the system must support booting from the CD-ROM
drive or be able to be set as such in the system BIOS.

You boot from the CD and run setup from there. There is a way to do it
using boot floppies but you cannot use a 9x boot floppy for this, you would
need to download the appropriate information and create floppies from the
information.
For XP Home Edition:

For XP Pro:

Since this is a Windows 95 system, there may be a lot of incompatible
hardware and if its processor is less than a Pentium II-233, it is not
supported and likely won't install.

Michael,

THANKS SO MUCH!!! I found the Boot Sequence on page two of
the set-up and now it's loading.

I don't know if you realize how much help you are to us
newbies. All I can say is your help opens the door from
frustration to a world with fresh air. Your building up a
great deal of Karma if you believe in it or not.

Keep giving and the world when bring you returns beyond
your imagination.

Take care.

And thank you, Randy as it's responses such as yours that make it all
worthwhile. I know just what you mean about the frustration as sometimes
all it takes is the ability to simply get the key in the door to enable you
to open many doors beyond it.

Thanks again and good luck.
