how do I install software for owner/administrator use only?

I want to install software into only the Administrator's user account. (As
in only mine, and not the kids !!)

Can I choose this when I am prompted to "select destination folder" during
the installation, or do I have to install it, and then remove it from the
other accounts?

If you know how to do this, please send instructions !! (detailed if possible)

*note* I did try to install and then move into "owner" however it still
remained on desktop of other user.... I quite possibly did this wrong !!??
 
my bad - sorry. I thought I was replying to the other responders. Guess I
am just not as computer literate as some
