how do I insert variable image

have tried using this as a field code:

{ INCLUDEPICTURE "C:\\MyPics\\Sigs\\{ MERGEFIELD SignNoID }.jpg
\*MERGEFORMAT }

This works for sinnoid = 1 ( SigNoID = RecordID). Yet, all other reocrds
retain original (rec = 1) image.!!!

Any ideas?

You have to merge to a new document, and in the new document force the
fields to update: Ctrl+A, F9.
