how do i insert an mp4 video clip into powerpoint?

I am doing a Powerpoint presentation and would like to insert an MP4 video
clip. Any ideas how I can do this?

I normally advise against using "alternative" as it can create some very
serious problems with other players and media editing/creating applications.

Worth more than that, I figure.

If you *have* to play QT movies, you don't have much choice but to go over to
the dark side, right?

OTOH, if you have some suggested warning text to add to that FAQ, I'm all ears.
