How do I import or create a database?

I have a text file I want to use as a database in FP2002. I want to allow
visitors to search that base for descriptions of products I carry. It will
only have a description, not pictures.
Then I want them to choose to ask me to post the product picture if they are
interested.
Is there any easy to understand step by step instructions on how this is
done?
 
Is your site hosted on Windows IIS and can you use ASP and Access as the
database? If so then this would be fairly easy to develop and implement.

you might try a third party solution if you can't do it in FP....

I use www.ezscripting.co.uk - they have excellent scripts - flat file databases
and they are free, with an Xtra range for a small payment.

They have pretty clear instructions, but it may or may not suit your needs. check
them out anyway.
