I had to reformat my hard drive but I was able to copy the OUTLOOK 2000 files
on to a flash drive. I want to import the files from the flash back to
OUTLOOK 2000, I don't know how? Help please.

What mode is OL2000 installed in? (see Help | about). Always post full info
in here - version/mode/service pack level. This makes a huge difference in
most cases.

Do not import. Copy the PST file (sure hope you got that!!!) to the location
of your choice - like, \my documents\outlook\myname.pst.

If you haven't done so already, run Outlook to set up a profile for
yourself - account type, settings, etc.
Close Outlook.
Search for *.pst on your hard drive (include hidden/system folders if on
WinXP/2k).
Rename the new vanilla PST file to something else - like OLDoutlook.pst.
Open Outlook.
When it says it can't find the file, direct it to the path you chose for
your 'real' PST file. Close & re-open Outlook & see if it works.
