Dear Mr. Mayor,

I am rather frustrated with a Microsoft Word issue, and I wonder if you
might be able to help me.

I used to run AmiPro 3.1. I now run MS Word 2000.

I have downloaded and run the Microsoft Office Converter Pack, which
installed the AmiPro concersion filter in C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\TextConv I had downloaded the conversion pack from
the MS web site. I did not download the filter from your site.

However, when I run MS Word and try to import an AmiPro file into word, the
AmiPro filter is not one of the choices. I have rebooted my computer,
thinking that maybe that was the reason it did not work. That made no
difference.

On your site you write: "Note that AmiPro may not appear as a file open
option in Word, but the converter will recognize AmiPro files based on the
filename extension *.SAM

So what option should I choose for MS Word to convert my .SAM files correctly?

I am looking forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Abrasha

If the filter is not listed, select 'all files' and pick the document you
wish to convert.
