hi i found something on google groups simlilar to this post topic but
its not exactly what i am looking for. I need to find a way to hide a
program in the add/remove programs. I still need to use it so i dont
want to delete it.

You can use this free utility to hide and then unhide items on the list:

Download AddRemoveCleaner (ARC) from here:

Use this as an example:

To hide the "AnalogX Proxy" entry from Add/Remove, open Regedit.exe and
navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AnalogX
Proxy

In the right-panel, right-click the DisplayIcon value and choose Rename

Rename it as "-DisplayName".

The AnalogX entry is now hidden. To make it visible again, rename the value
back to "DisplayName"
